All individuals that ship, transport, or receive dangerous goods stated in The TDG Regulation must be certified in their appropriate and safe handling. Proper handling and placarding of potentially dangerous goods is not only good stewardship, it’s the law. Fines for a first offence can be up to $50,000 and $100,000 for a second offence. Recertification is required at a minimum every 3 years or when a worker moves to a new workplace.
