If after your incident investigation, the corrective action is to “tell the worker to be more careful”, we can tell you with about 98% certainty that you DO NOT have the root cause. Incident investigation and the identification of root cause are imperative to effective safety management.  A 1 day course is the minimum that must be spent to be able to effectively investigate workplace incidents.

This course is designed to provide the essentials of incident investigation: why investigate?, Who should be involved and why? the real cost of incidents, legal requirements, the basics of conducting an investigation and dealing with the results. The course includes the materials you need to set your incident investigation program up for success such as sample polices and procedures, incident report and investigation forms and an incident investigation kit.
