The Workplace Safety and Health Division has recently hired 10 additional safety officers, is expected to hire 10 more and have stated that inspections will be tripling.  Recent fines for serious injuries and fatalities have been increasing to up to $100,000.00 in Manitoba.  And when a fatality or serious injury occurs, there is a reverse onus where all employers are automatically guilty and must be able to prove their innocence.

This advanced investigation course is designed to train companies to collect the type of due diligence evidence and in such a way so as to build the best possible defence in the case of civil, criminal or third party liability.  It is also designed to identify root causes and implement corrective action. Set your company up with the proper polices, procedures, forms and flow through to deliver a thorough investigation.  At this course you will actually practice taking charge of an incident scene and conducting an investigation!
This course is taught by a former RCMP member with 27 years experience in major case file management and incident analyses.
